George Takei's great! A year or two ago he wrote about running his last marathon - because now that he's 70, he has to slow down a bit.

hey, i had no idea he was a 'thoner. that's cool. i aspire to run another one someday...i was hoping to do one during this, my 40th year, but i think it'll have to wait until at least spring at this point. perhaps vancouver (http://www.bmovanmarathon.ca/hm/).

At 70, he's a better runner than I'll ever be. :)

But that's ok. I like my bike. With the kids getting more manageable, I'm hoping to train for the Seattle To Portland or Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party (RSVP) rides one of these years. One plus of working on the eastside is that I can get most of my miles in by bike commuting 3 days a week.
