airport security redux
well, great. heightened airport security. all liquids, lotions, pastes, creams, and gels are now banned substances in carry-on bags. that means you can't take shampoo, body lotion, toothpaste, or a whole host of other basic overnight toiletries. guess this means ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
glaucon and i, along with all the other pinball geeks descending on pittsburgh next week, will have to check our luggage for the PA flight. the overhead bins will probably be pretty empty, so long as these constraints are in effect...

they have also banned beverages, which means you can't take them through security, and if you buy one from a vendor *inside* the security envelope, you have to finish it before you board the plane. i wonder if they'll start using bigger cups for the beverage service, so they can give you an amount of liquid that might actually quench your thirst.
