wow. i had no idea you were into the junkies. i love them too. i was introduced to them by.......i think it was mark, the second or third (who's counting?) guy i dated right after my divorce was final. i saw them in concert at this cool little venue in winooski, vermont. margo timmins had a broken ankle at the time, and sat on a bar stool while singing.
so we *do* still have some musical tastes in common. ;-)
still listen to triumph? i don't ever listen to vanhalen anymore, but i still like my old u2 stuff, yaz, pixies, etc. and i've been getting into some old punk and other junk from when we were kids too. it's cool. stuff i never even knew existed. (oddly, my 15 year old nephew andrew is into the same shit.)
but please...please tell me you haven't gotten into mainstream country. my 16 year old niece, audrey, loves it, and it makes me want to puke! hey, guess what else about her? she's the coxswain for one of the crew teams at EGR. she's the perfect cox--she's only 4'11", and she has a HUGE voice. (did you know that she and andrew go there?)
