good news
happily...sent my prospectus draft to my advisor today. a day later than i was hoping, but still...such a great feeling! this is the most substantial thing i've written in almost 2 years, and even if she punches it full of holes, the act of writing it has restored my faith in my intellectual abilities. i can do this. i just need to keep plugging away...
as aesop's tortoise teaches us (and the hare): "slow and steady wins the race."
"steady" i'll buy--i can see the value in that--but "slow" i want to kick in the ass.
