I got back from Michigan last night. Emotionally and physically exhausted. Unfortunately, I was gone long enough to get used to the eastern time zone, so I woke up early this morning feeling like I was sleeping in.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my previous message. I appreciate the support a lot--and it especially meant a lot to me last week while I was working on my parents' house. I'll write more once I'm feeling a little bit more rested and recovered. Today is a day for taking care of everything I need to do to re-start my Seattle life. All that mundane stuff. Unfortunately, I think I'm also going to have to buy a new phone. My battery died during a phone conversation last night--totally expected, it was beeping at me--but now it won't take a charge. At first I wasn't sure if it was the phone or the outlet--the outlets in our apartment are problematic--but I've tried plugging it into 4 different outlets, with no success. But maybe...I left it plugged in overnight, so maybe it charged while I wasn't looking.
