birthday update

uh-oh! i was able to snag one of the tatami (sp?) rooms at maneki for friday night--not until 7:30, rather than 7 like i had planned, but that's not too bad for last minute. the problem is that the lady on the phone was *very* firm that i can't have *any* more than 10 people in the room. already, 9 people have rsvp'ed to say they will definitely be there for dinner. if more than 10 people rsvp, should i change to a different restaurant, or just cut it off? those who have already rsvp'ed have said they are *really* looking forward to a) having sushi, and b) trying maneki.

hmm....a dilemma i did not expect to have, given the late notice and all.

but it's a good dilema to have no? I say stick with the sushi and just tell peeps what you said in your post and you'll see them at the bar or danceclub.

It's your bday it shouldn't be this frantic thing where you have to figure out how many people and reserve rooms and all that business.

So where do we bring presents?

It's tomorrow, tomorrow!! 39! The age at which you will perpetually stay! LOL!! Shit, can you believe we are almost 40? And still friends. Heh.

I hope it's a good one! *HUGS* For one small second I feared I forgot it! Honestly, some days I don't know whether I'm coming or going, never mind what the date is!

K.

You're older than I am by ONE DAY--HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Man. . . 39--sorta takes the wind out of my already sagging sails.

Have much fun. I'm going to be hermiting on the coast as is the tradition. Small group this year--me, the dogs, my boy.

And have some scallops for me, please!

Love you.
