birthday update

uh-oh! i was able to snag one of the tatami (sp?) rooms at maneki for friday night--not until 7:30, rather than 7 like i had planned, but that's not too bad for last minute. the problem is that the lady on the phone was *very* firm that i can't have *any* more than 10 people in the room. already, 9 people have rsvp'ed to say they will definitely be there for dinner. if more than 10 people rsvp, should i change to a different restaurant, or just cut it off? those who have already rsvp'ed have said they are *really* looking forward to a) having sushi, and b) trying maneki.

hmm....a dilemma i did not expect to have, given the late notice and all.

and shit, all this talk of 6th grade friends--which are you, tim, and roger--reminds me, i forgot to call roger today! today was his 39th birthday...

too late now. it's almost 10:30pm here, which makes it...1:30am there.
