fyi, guerilla queer bar-seattle comes out again tonight! it's at club noc-noc, dress code is goth, basic black, anti-valentine.

i'll be there for sure, but i'm planning to head home fairly early (by midnight, 12:30 at the very very latest). dancing is definitely on the agenda! (they have progressive house tonight.)

Ugh

I haven't read you and Ms. L's blogs in a while. I read your birthday reflections and felt achingly sad that I wasn't there, as I should have been. I miss you.

guerilla queer bar??? gothy dress code? sounds like something i'd like a lot, sad i missed it.
sad i missed you're b-day happenings too, i was super sick last weekend, still sorta sick unfortunately -but even worse is that i work til 10 on Friday nights now....on the eastside.

that sucks! i hope you're feeling better.

gqb was ok last night. um...except noc noc wasn't so much playing progressive house as they were playing......salsa and meringue.

not really my thing. there were some a-fucking-mazing dancers there, but i wasn't one of them.

ended up at the merc with other people, oddly. which was awesome, except i was out much later than i had planned. now i'm tired and cranky and i smell like smoke and i have eyeliner smudged down to my cheekbones. and i need coffee!

it was a good night.

p.s. i meant to answer the guerrilla queer bar question. my friend [livejournal.com profile] writerpunk puts it together. next time i get an announcement about it i'll post it here. it's pretty fun. there's always a dress code, and a bunch of queer and queer friendly people go out and take over a straight bar.
