arguchiki did it, i finished my exams! i actually wrote two 15-page essays in one weekend. actually, i wrote one 18-page essay and one 16-page essay...but don't tell anyone. (technically they're longer than that--i reduced the font to 11-point. hope i don't get in trouble)
the weekend was a rollercoaster ride, truly. i had a couple of meltdowns on friday, and my essay was kind of a wreck. saturday morning i was tempted to try fixing it, but i had planned to devote saturday to the second essay, so i made myself stick to the plan. today i finished up the second essay by about noon, and spent the rest of the day reworking the mess i made on friday. i felt really good about both essays when i finished them...but now that i'm contemplating turning them in, i'm starting to get apprehensive. what if i didn't cover enough? what if i rambled too much? i won't know until after my oral exam, which is on december 2. wish me luck...
enough of that noise. i'm tired--time for bed! and tomorrow, i won't be reading or writing a word... (it's a wonder the tendons in my fingers still work.)
