strike!

the UAW has declared that its GM workers are on strike as of this morning. this is the first major automotive industry strike in over 30 years (though there have been localized strikes over the years).

i am a fellow UAW member (local 4121), and a michigander by birth...in solidarity.

i hope this strike gets settled--favorably to my brothers and sisters--quickly.
