He came through the surgery just fine and is home, asleep, where I expect he will remain (both home and asleep) for about the next 24+ hours.

Spread the word to any of his friends who aren't also my LJ friends, i.e. who otherwise wouldn't see this in a timely fashion.

LOL--no worries there, i assure you. he's going to be ship shape in a couple of days, if it kills me!

(ETA: by which i mean, of course, that i plan to cater to his every need until he is all better.)
