i love that it's already the new year in some parts of the world. the new year is a wave breaking east to west, around the equator, dominoes falling one degree of arc at a time, time passing like so many slices of pie (pi?). i can almost hear the sound.
happy new year, everyone! hope you all have fun things planned. looks like i'm going to start out at chez gaudy, then perhaps to the CHAC (sorry to miss the goings on at conworks--it would be super cool to see the CC band perform--but $35 is too pricey for me!), and who knows where and what, after that. wandering the streets, finding trouble. there is talk of eating pudding in a bathtub, with many people participating. this, i might just have to see. um. do, i mean.
i don't know about you all, but i am soooo ready to kick 2005 in the ass, and give 2006 a deep, lingering, wet kiss.
