I just finished baking up a batch of the Amazing Banana Bread of Much Deliciousness, aka Buckwheat Banana Bread from Daniel Leader and Judith Blahnik's Bread Alone.
Don't you wish you were at my house right now? :-d
I have to find someone to give some of this bread--there's more here than I and my housemates will eat. The recipe is only supposed to make 1 large loaf, but I get 1 large (9x5) and 1 small (8x4) loaf out of it. When I baked this for the first time, I tried pouring all the batter into a single loaf pan of the prescribed size, and it overflowed in the oven. So...two loaves it is.
