it's from a dream I had entirely in verse about how the Industrial Revolution turned people into miniature factories themselves even while continuing to use them as fuel for the larger factories that were producing the mental and physical goods burned in the workers/factories.
it was much longer when I dreamed it, but I could only recall the last four lines on waking. they wrap up the gist of the whole thing pretty tightly though.
