clowns

saw a clown coming out of the seattle library branch near my apt. it was so cool! and of course i blurted out, "you're a clown!" hmm...i think maybe she knew that already. she was nice, though. she introduced me to her clown dog, sweetie, a little yorkie with a ruffle around his neck. he was a sweetie. very calm and non-yappy for a toy-sized dog.

so i failed to procure tickets to the noam chomsky appearance that happens in 2 weeks. the guy at the university bookstore said the tickets were gone in 8 minutes. it's ok...i'm getting a tooth crowned that day... i *did* get tickets for sr. helen prejean's appearance, though. looking forward to that--she's the nun who wrote "dead man walking" (which was made into a film with sean penn and susan sarandon). so...she's a *nun*, obviously, but she's also an anti-death-penalty activist, which is super cool. that same week...going to see stomp!

life is good.

p.s. please explain to me how "thirsty" is a mood??? i had to pick it just because...

of course stomp would come when i'm broke. oh well, i might splurge and get tickets anyway, even though i've probably memorized the show by now. HEY, maybe i should audition! i've seriously thought about it.
