i just signed up to attend a 2-day feminist theory seminar at duke university, march 23-24. very exciting! i'll be attending seminar sessions led by elizabeth grosz, whose book volatile bodies informs part of the theoretical basis of my dissertation. there will be a bunch of other really cool people there, too--a great chance to network. i'd better do my homework so i won't look like a complete idiot! it would also help if i can get my paper about the bodies exhibition into a more finished state. maybe there'll be a chance to talk about works in progress. that would rock!

yay! now i gotta book a cheap plane ticket...and make hotel reservations...
