it's the friday post. yay, friday!

READING: should be finishing up my re-reading of michel foucault's the history of sexuality, vol. I, at which time i will start in on georgio agamben's homo sacer, which i just got from the library a couple of days ago. no novels at present. i still have a couple of stories to read from shelley jackson's the melancholy of anatomy.

WEARING: right now my jammy pants and a dark gray sweater, bare feet. i'm showering shortly and will probably be wearing something completely different in half an hour.

PLANNING: my main goal for the weekend is to finish up an application that's due next week. that means finishing updates to my CV, writing a statement of purpose (i.e. "why i want this job"), and pulling together the teaching materials they want. i also have to check in with my recommenders. wish me luck! other plans for the weekend include having tea with a friend on saturday and picking up glaucon from the airport sunday night.

now i'm off to have a day.

Hey, I'm going to Duke too for the feminist theory thing...we should talk more tomorrow! I wonder if anyone else from our dept. is going.

I am so freakin' tired of applications. It's going to be even worse when we go on the market.
