The extent of my Foucault reading is this, (http://www.amazon.com/Foucault-Beginners-Writers-Readers-Documentary/dp/086316160X/ref=sr_1_1/103-3012310-4568626?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1176168715&sr=8-1) which is a great book to keep in one's bathroom. so I'm only as informed about the self-discipline thing as I can be from living in today's world, i.e., thinking "I should shave my legs even though it's 30 degrees outside so people will like me."
