READING: reviewing, actually: martin kenney, biotechnology: the university-industrial complex (a book i read for my senior seminar in the lyman briggs school at michigan state uniersity, back in...1990. the book came out in 1986.), horace freeland judson, the eighth day of creation, daniel kevles, in the name of eugenics, and try duster, backdoor to eugenics. (the latter two i read for my exams and haven't looked at since; the judson book i read sections of about 2 years ago, and am doing the same now.)

WEARING: jeans. old dark green with purple and teal paisleys patagonia fleece. it sounds cheesy, but it's actually kind of a cool print. i bought this fleece during the grunge era, and it still works. um....black socks. an olive green t-shirt. the usual underwear suspects.

PLANNING: going to friday harbor for the weekend! to celebrate the birthday of

twocrows (whose birthday is tomorrow), to whom i still owe an outrageous lie.

glaucon (whose birthday is sunday) and i are leaving early this afternoon and will be back sometime on sunday. i'm packing warm stuff.....
