So does this mean all the rich people that lobbied for tax cuts will be shipped off to gitmo? Cuz, I don't know, it just doesn't seem right doing that without first restoring habeas corpus and banning torture.
Just because they haven't yet proven they're not terrorists doesn't mean they don't have the same rights under the geneva convention as any other enemy captured on the battlefield.
Hopefully we can reach some sort of moderate compromise without giving in to extremists on either side of this important issue.
