i coulda told them that. i and my irregular heartbeat, which while not as bad as it was when i was in the throes of acute anxiety last december-january-february, is still thu-thuuuuuu-thumping its problematic beat more often than not. (my anxiety is still there, too--i'm just not having acute attacks right now. it's more like a pot simmering rather than explosively boiling. it is exhausting, though--because it also keeps me from sleeping properly--and i wish there were a quick fix.)

in other news, i completed a new sweater project. it's bright orange--same yarn as the hat i knitted for glaucon, if you're among those who have seen that). :-) read about it here.

my anxiety at the moment is situational. my annual CT scan appointment is in a month. i got a letter in the mail informing me when it would be in mid-december, and just had a conversation with the surgeon's scheduler last week because they needed to change the appointment.

yep. the 12th, actually. was supposed to be the 5th.

it is annoying to be kept hanging...but inevitable, i suppose, given that they have to coordinate both the scan itself and the appointment with the hotshot surgeon.
