i am sitting on the #522 bus from downtown seattle to bothell right now. surfing the net.

they have fucking wi-fi on the bus, and i'm just finding this out TODAY???

what is the sound of one hand slapping my forehead?

ETA: why would i want to commute in a car, like, ever again?

the crazy thing is that i found out about this completely by accident. i turned on my computer to read a student's paper (submitted electronically) during the commute--which task i have not yet completed, unfortunately--and my perky lil macbook promptly asked me if i wanted to join this bus's network. i was like...HELL YES!

You know what I miss? The soothing sound of a 300 baud connection succeeding after hand dialing for 15 minutes straight without a redial button.
