It's officially a landslide. MSNBC is reporting "Breaking news" that Obama has won North Carolina (as reported by the AP). That would put him at 364 electoral votes.
Here's an article from the Seattle PI reporting the same thing. (Though, oddly, they say in this article that Missouri is still too close to call. I thought they called Missouri for McCain yesterday.)

Date: 2008-11-06 08:25 pm (UTC)Still looking to see how the Alaska senate race goes. It's looking like this election will have two firsts - the first black elected president and the first convicted felon elected to the senate. It should get interesting - Reid is threatening to expel Stevens if he wins. The iffy thing is that republicans will say that he was elected after his conviction, so the people took that into account. Of course, Stevens was publicly claiming that he "wasn't convicted of anything" and presumably some republican voters took him at his word.

Date: 2008-11-06 08:28 pm (UTC)Would they bother to do a recount in Missouri, do you think? Given that the overall election is already a landslide, I mean. I wonder...
