A) Four jobs I have had :
1. mcdonald's for 3 years: 10th grade through my first year in college. the last position i held there was swing-shift manager. i knew how to do everything in the store.
2. day camp counselor for ymca's camp optimist, in allendale michigan. i was also one of the camp bus drivers. that is how i learned to drive a stick.
3. manager for gap kids.
4. lab technician for a little company in essex junction, vt--i purified coagulation enzymes from human plasma and cow blood. have you ever seen 15 liters of fresh, warm blood before? oddly, one of those old delaval cream separators is perfect for separating the red blood cells from the plasma.
B) Four movies I would watch over and over:
american beauty
the lover
raising arizona
um....honestly? weekend at bernie's
or elizabeth (cate blanchett, rowr!)
almost anything, really. i love the movies.
C) Four places you have lived:
okemos, MI
monkton, VT
burlington, VT
seattle, WA
D) Four TV shows you love to watch:
star trek (kirk or picard, please)
law & order (the original or svu)
king louie (a new-ish sitcom on hbo)
used to love watching quincy with my dad.
but i don't have a TV now, so...
E) Four places you have been on vacation:
gettysburg
blue hill, maine and acadia national park
isle royale national park
yellowstone national park
great smoky mountains national park
wait, that's 5...
how many national parks have *you* visited on vacation? hmm. the question is, how many vacations have i taken that *didn't* involve a visit to a national park?
F) Websites you visit daily:
LJ
seattle PI
NY times and/or washington post
my.yahoo
G) Four of my favorite foods:
chocolate peanut butter ice cream
palak paneer
spicy green curry
szechuan stewed fish
H) Four places I would rather be right now:
in bed with my sweetheart
rome
ireland
adirondacks
I) Four friends I think will respond:
i'm not gonna meme anyone. if this sounds fun to you, do it. i'll enjoy reading...
