eye doc

today i visited the optometrist for the first time since late 1999 or early 2000. turns out i still have better than 20/20 vision (it's 20/15). *but*--i have to work harder to focus now than i did when i was younger, so i'm straining my eyes.

the prescription? a pretty new pair of glasses for me. yay! i've never had glasses before...unless you count the reading glasses i had in 8th grade, which i never wore...

it was sooooo fun trying on frames. mine will be red, believe it or not. i didn't expect to like the red ones best, but i did. the style is a slighty catty half-frame. very librarian.

i hope i don't get tired of them.

when i get them (next week wednesday or thursday) i'll post a pic.
