it's a carlotta weekend!

woo hoo! going out for ethiopian tonight (yum), followed by carlotta's late night wing-ding! can't wait--i've only seen a carlotta show once before, and that was a couple of years ago, but it left a huge impression. seriously fun and hilarious. it's at nortwest actors studio at 11th and pike, if you're interested. the full bar opens at 10, show starts at 10:30. this info will be true for the duration of the run--it plays every weekend until december 17th. it's like a late-night variety show (only indescribably different........), so it changes every weekend. tickets: $12 door, $10 advance (brown paper tickets).

last night had a great time with my friend gabe (the_kender)--late night dim sum at china gate with bad karaoke in the next room, followed by a failed quest to find mochi ice cream. (alas, we didn't get to the ID until about 10:30, so uwajimaya was closed.) since the quest failed, we shared a strawberry charleston chew instead. not the same! not even close to the same!

tomorrow i'm meeting someone new for coffee down in belltown. should be interesting.

i leave for SF tuesday afternoon, with the illustrious ms. L, and i'll be gone until the following sunday. i realized the other day that this will be the first time in like 5 years that i've flown with someone. otherwise, i've been flying alone. not sure what to think or say about that, it's just interesting.

Thanks for the talk... I really ought to be moving on from her, you're right.
Please continue to be the great friend that you are and keep me on the right track with reminders every so often... there are better people out there than her. And that she leaves me confused and hurt... ::sigh::

i have never met the girl, but i don't need to meet her to see that she's bad news for you. confused and hurt is putting it mildly--you've been scaring your friends this past week, with this little tailspin. when you told me you were hanging out with her again, it all suddenly made sense to me--*that's* what has been bothering you, not the other stuff you told me about. you deserve better--but you have to believe that for yourself. me telling you isn't going to convince you...
