i decided to spin off my knitting posts into a new blog. i'm just repurposing my old blogspot blog for that purpose. there's not really anything over there yet, but if you ever want to check it out, it's the first item in my links list to the left.

i'll still probably post about knitting here, at least on occasion, as part of posting about what i'm up to. but i'm going to put the thicker, more technical knitting-specific posts over there.

that is all. carry on with your day and i will do the same with mine. today i'm working on diss stuff, as usual; i also have to complete and send out a letter of rec for a former student.
