this is the kind of thing that makes me really, really angry. what gets into people...what goes wrong in their heads, that they not only think it's OK, but actually think it's their responsibility to protest at heath ledger's funeral because he played a gay man in a movie and thereby "called god a liar"? i find this kind of moralizing, intolerant, self-righteous religious fundamentalism deeply disturbing and repugnant. i mean, come on...are they really going to protest at a funeral? really??

the guy's dead. he was only 28. let his family and friends mourn this tragic loss in peace. i understand that these radical baptists feel very strongly about this issue, but even setting aside how fucked up i think their views are, you just don't go to a funeral to protest something the dead guy did.

Do these same people complain about the injustice of a fundamentalist Muslim government that issues a death warrant on somebody who draws an unfavorable political cartoon?
Stupidity knows no limits when it is infused with religious zealotry.
