happy leap day! i want cake. is that wrong?

READING: honestly...when i'm not writing, lately, i'm reading the forum boards on ravelry.com.

WEARING: jeans. orange t-shirt. no socks, no shoes. no toenail polish. my feet are cold.

PLANNING: to submit a long-overdue "thing" to my adviser today or tomorrow. (is it me, or should "adviser" be spelled "advisor?" "adviser" just looks wrong to me. anyone got an insight into that?) going to the college inn this evening. not sure what else for the weekend, beyond work. i'm going to be teaching 2 classes next quarter, so i'll be ramping up the syllabus construction work here pretty soon.

OTHER: finished watching buffy, season 4 last night. one more episode to go in angel, season 1. this is my first time systematically watching either series, though i've seen random episodes of each before; i've also seen all of firefly and serenity. yes, joss whedon is my (anti)hero. does anyone else get the occasional frat boy vibe from david boreanaz? he's really pretty, and i love his portrayal of angel, but this little...thing...bothers me every now and then. also, has anyone seen his new series, bones? what's he like in that?

gotta go. iphi is yelling at me...i wonder what she wants?

Hello, I added you because I saw a link somewhere in Lindsay (http://www.lindsaydayton.com)'s internet places and it seemed like we have some good common interests.

I haven't watched Angel, only Bones, but I totally see the David Boreanaz frat boy vibe. It probably makes more sense there, as he's playing a non-blood-sucking FBI agent. I like the show. It's all pretty pretty science and crime fighting.

hi--i friended you back. i'm assuming you mean lindsay D. who just moved from SD to seattle, and who is a knitter; and not lindsay who lives in philadelphia and is a friend of my boyfriend's from the university of delaware, where they both did their undergrad, and who is also a knitter...?
