READING: I'm going to try using capital letters like a normal person today. I'm a lazy typist... Anyway, I'm almost done reading Nicola Griffith's Always. It's a good read. Detective-y. Nothing earth-shatteringly interesting about it, but it's very well written, and I love the main character. I'm still working on Animal's People too, by Indra Sinha. That's about it.

WEARING: Faded jeans, black socks, black maryjanes. Bright blue t-shirt (long-sleeved) with my new black (self-knitted) cardigan over the top. My red glasses.

PLANNING: I'm in Bothell today, conferencing with students. I'll be here all morning, then it's back to home to do some of my own work in the afternoon. I'm also going to meet with one student who lives in Seattle (she's one of my Bothell students, though, not one of my Seattle students).

KNITTING: I finished my blue lace scarf (the Lace Ribbon Scarf from the New Knitty). I'm working on new scarf, Brancing Out, also from Knitty (an older issue). I'm getting addicted to knitting lace...though, there are limitations on how much of it I will want to do, since I don't really like wearing girly lace (so those big lace shawls are kind of...not so much on my list of must-knits.) It's just interesting work--keeps me on my toes.
