arguchikok now i've seen everything. from the p-i. i'm cutting and pasting the full text, along with attribution to the associated press (my late sister's employer, interestingly), so hopefully i won't get in trouble. i cannot stop laughing. the image...the image...somebody, somewhere (coen bros? farrelly bros?) simply *must* put this in a movie. (actually, it reminds me of the dog stampede from "raising arizona," speaking of the coen bros.) shit, i have tears streaming down my face... i just love small things, don't you? their ferocity. rawwwrrr.

Pack of angry Chihuahuas attacks officer

FREMONT, Calif. -- A pack of angry Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorities said.
The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle, Detective Bill Veteran said.
The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed the officer in the doorway Thursday, authorities said. The teenager had been detained after the traffic incident.
The officer was treated at a hospital and returned to work less than two hours later.

i'm just trying to picture what that poor cop's coworkers said when he got back to work. poor guy. i'm sure he got no sympathy. "what's that, officer? sent to the hospital by chihauhuas??" bwahahahah!!!
