i've had the blahs for 2-3 days now. a little blue, a little lackluster, a little low on energy.
teaching: blah
weather: blah
self-confidence: blah
everything else except maybe one or two things: blah
whence and wherefore? i have no firm explanation. perhaps it's the post-holiday, post-new year, pre-birthday blahs. it doesn't seem to be identical with the impending global doom vibe i wrote about the other day. this is more personal and local. i want something *fun* to happen, and i'm getting to the point where i'm going to start instigating mischief just to stir up the sediment a little.
what do you do, to chase away the blahs?

Date: 2006-01-11 04:17 pm (UTC)I think maybe its new years that is making you feel this way...ever since then the whole world and life seems blah...maybe its the thought that we have a whole year to get through that's depressing us...i dont know...but i think you should do something fun...like meet up with your closest friends and spend the day together doing things on the spur of the moment, or go shopping and buy something you have been waiting ages to get (I'm not being materialistic, but sometimes having something new which interests you can divert your attention away from other things)...
