My Birthday Cometh

I just sent out an email to a bunch of people, announcing that I'll be celebrating my 39th birthday this Friday, the 10th. My birthday is actually on Thursday the 9th, but I have to work on Friday so I don't want to be hungover. I'm posting the info here, in case I inadvertently forgot to email anyone who might be interested in helping me mourn...er...celebrate. ;-) Here's the scoop:

7pm: dinner at Maneki in the ID, 304 6th Ave. S (please RSVP by Wednesday if you want to come to dinner, so I can make reservations. Maneki is Seattle's oldest sushi restaurant, and I'm pretty sure they have vegetarian items on the menu as well.)
9pm-11 or so: I plan to hang out at a nice bar somewhere to get happy-but-not-sloppy drunk (I'll post the location when I decide on it.)
11-??: I want to go dancing!! Preferably someplace that's neither Neighbor's nor Neighbor's-esque.

I was going to have a quiet birthday this year, but decided at the last minute to make it more of a to-do. Hopefully it's not too late of notice for people...

I get what you mean about the layout.
R Place has a floor plan that you might like better.
can't speak to the music though - I'm pretty omnivorous in that dept.

too bad aro.space closed down. that was the best layout of any dance place I've ever been to in seattle. played great music too.
