the sick

bleah. thought i was better but not. went another round with the sick this afternoon that left me soooooo tired. just a little while ago i woke up from a 4-5 hour nap, and i'm feeling a little better again. glaucon is coming over with some star trek movies and i might attempt to munch on a little plain white rice.

my ex-father-in-law used to recommend the BRAT diet for intestinal ailments: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast (burnt, plain or with a very small amount of jelly, not jam).

let's do the time warp again....

(full disclosure: i have never seen rocky horror, but i've been told about the toast thing. and i've heard the song.)

i wish the B stood for Beer, but it doesn't. i couldn't actually drink a beer right now, of course, but i had been planning to have a drink with a birthday-celebrating friend tonight. alas, i had to take a rain check.
