Mmm. This seems like a superb way to procrastinate…

1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
Oh, hell no. Sometimes I wonder if I’m capable of it.

2) What was your dream growing up?
To be a lawyer, actually. Also, a politician, which got me a lot of mocking back in 3d grade.

3) What talent do you wish you had?
Singing, or basically any performance talent.

4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
Old Fashioned.

5) Favorite vegetable?
Lately, raw broccoli stems.

6) What was the last book you read?
Oh god. In its entirety? The Law Governing Lawyers. Shit.

7) What zodiac sign are you?
Gemini, with Scorpio rising and Libra moon. This is actually not the worst possible way of conceptualizing my crazy.

8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
I have one piercing scar on my nose and two on my left ear. I also have a tattoo of a question mark on my chest. My law school friends keep talking about getting tattoos after the bar, which makes me want to get three dots (either an ellipsis or that three-dot “therefore” sign) on my right palm. Small enough that people would think I just had problems capping my pen.

9) Worst Habit?
Hmm. Procrastination isn’t so much a habit as a neurotic symptom for me. Although I suppose that’s true of all habits. My main problem is I lack good habits, such as returning videos on time or cleaning the house.

10) If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride?
If you were you? Yes.

11) What is your favorite sport?
As a spectator? I actually like curling. As a participant? Yoga isn’t a sport.

12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
Negative. The inner surly teenager is strong in me, and she thinks optimism is for saps.

13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
Sit on the floor and try to remain calm. Hope no one has to pee. Rummage in my backpack for a ziploc bag in case someone has to pee.

14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
When my immune system started attacking my optic nerves and they thought I had MS. Although I think that’s the first experience that made me think a lot about contingency and loss and how finite and unexpected our time may be, so.

15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
I find myself entirely normal.

Yes.

You seemed really straitlaced. It was the hair.

19) Do you think clowns are cute or scary?
Neither. Something like…cold. My sister was terrified of clowns, so my mom made her have a giant painting of a clown over her bed when she was a kid. On what theory, I don’t know. My mom can be extremely sub-awesome on the compassion front.

20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
My chin. Half of my teenage anorexia was about trying to diet away the double chin, which it turns out isn’t possible.

Conscience. You know that.

Blue.

No.

Neither.

Sock it away to cover the mortgage during the bar. Get my suits re-tailored. Do some dry cleaning.

Well, I’m at Victrola almost every weekend, so I think it might be Victrola. I still miss Ileen’s.

Yes. I had one in that apartment in Tacoma. It liked to listen to the same three Hank Williams songs over and over again.

Insane house or yard projects that result in extended periods of chaos.

Text messaging.

Irreverent.

No. It always feels like a script to me. I find it alienating.
